Beep is a fruit drink made with orange, apple, apricot, pineapple juices, & prune syrup. It also has a fair bit of sugar--27 grams per 250ml/1 cup.
I used to drink Beep all the time, and it was my go-to drink for when I was sick. Actually one of my earliest memories is drinking Beep out of a sippy cup.
But Farmers Dairy (the last Canadian dairy producing it) discontinued it a couple of years ago. Mostly due to declining sales, and the Nova Scotia schools limiting what drinks could be sold at schools [1% milk, chocolate milk (which I usually get sick if I drink), Beep, & flavoured soy drinks ('Soy Good' was one I tried and it was horrid) were what the cafeteria at BRES/BRHS sold when I was there] because of their healthy eating initiative (Beep has a fair bit of sugar, though it doesn't taste like it does). And since then I've often been having cravings for it (and even tried mixing orange & prune juice to mimic the taste).
Anyway, after petitions & people constantly inquiring about it, Farmers Dairy has brought it back until around October. Hopefully enough people will buy it and they'll bring it back as a regular product. But I'm still going to drink as much of it as I can for now.
I also love the little bird mascot that they had stopped using. *Beep, beep*
