Did he have problems with it after? Ive heard a lot of people have... I was told I can put it off as long as the mobicox continues to work at masking the pain, but I worry about it some if it stops working.
He said that it certainly wasn't a fun experience, but he didn't have problems with his jaw afterwards. For some reason, they couldn't use screws for his surgery, so he had to have his jaw wired shut for six weeks. Lots of meals blended up to drinkable versions. Something to avoid if you can, but it's manageable. And it apparently only takes two weeks if you have screws with the first few days spent in the hospital, though there might be some medical advances since he had it done in the early '80s.
If it comes to it, I hope it goes well. Im kinda scared though. Also Ive had my fill of blended suppers...canned meatballs&gravy with potatos blended-up is D,:
