Watari's awesome.

When I first met Kun - who has cosplayed both Tsuzuki and Watari with me and who I'll be going to PortCon with - she was going by 'Yutaka-kun' and using a Watari avatar. ^^

Surprisingly enough, I got Hisoka. (And yes, that is sarcasm. That's also Hisoka in my avatar; it's from one of the manga illustrations.)

Avatar?

Avatar is another name for user icon or userpic. I used internet forums before LiveJournal and they tend to use the word 'avatar' more there, so it's a habit. It's worth noting that the icon usage of 'avatar' is quite different from the typical (religious) meaning of 'avatar'.

I suppose their hair style does look similar from the back.

When I see/hear avatar, I think of MMORPGs >.> so I was all "You played a MMORPG?"

Oooooh. Eheheheh . . .

But no, I haven't played any MMORPGs; I like playing games independently and refuse to pay the monthly access charges that a number of MMORPGs have. However, there's been talk of both a White Wolf and a Star Trek MMORPG coming and if there's anything that could get me into that type of game, it's those two series. I would love to play a Cardassian Obsidian Order operant.

(Though, when I first watched .hack//SIGN, I thought it would be really cool if an MMORPG like that really existed.)
