First off I apologise for not getting back all that fast to people about commissions. I was busy doing errands on the weekend, and Monday was a long day of long car rides & dental work. When I got back I was feeling queasy like usual (something with dental stuff always gives me a headache & makes me gaggy). But by the time I crawled into bed for the night, I was feeling shaky & I ached. The next morning I couldn't even keep a mug of tea down, and I had a full-blown fever. So the last few days have just been of drifting in-and-out of sleep, watching "The Mentalist" season 2, sweating buckets, & playing some "Animal Crossing: Wild World". I've pretty much just subsistent off toaster pastries & apple juice, but did manage to not bring back up a bag of popcorn while watching yesterday's new episode of "The Mentalist". And my brain is an ass. )

So yeah; I have no capacity for e-mailing right now. But I will reply sometime soon. I do really appreciate that people have commissioned me or donated though. I never expected anyone to do so! So thank-you very much. I am all that my brat & brats have after all, even if I can't offer very much. So the help I have received is wonderful. I've raised almost 1/4 of the $200 bill!

I should go to outpatients, but my mother is working, my adoptive family won't drive me, & I don't feel like taking a 1 1/2 bus ride then walking in the rain. And I don't think it would be good for either my stomach or fever. I also was planning on going to see the BRHS drama club perform "Dracula" tonight or tomorrow. But I don't know if I am well enough to even venture out to do that. :(

The book "Dracula" has a line in it that Van Helsing says to Mina (I also really like Wilhelmina Harker) about "light in the dark", and that is something that has stuck with me. I am Guthixian, and try to have a belief in Balance (of course that hasn't been easy lately at all). But yeah, it stuck with me just like the concept of 'no good or evil' did back when I read most of The Sword of Truth series. But I am not focused enough to ramble on that at this time.

...ANYWAY...I probably should try to go see that play, even just for a distraction. Maybe I can get some ice-cream too...

On another topic; I feel so sad for Patrick Jane after last night's new episode. But it did show his sincerity towards and protectiveness of children, just how much his family's murder effects him when he is alone, and it also showed his cruel/ruthless side that hasn't been shown much lately. I wish I had started watching this series prior to last summer, but at least I can go about catching-up on the earlier episides [I'm on episode 16(?) of season 2].

Lastly; before this flu I had started reading "The Invisible Man" again.

EDIT---
I ventured out to go see the play. And though the front sign still had "May 10-12", and all the posters in town & on the way there. The place was empty when I arrived, and after walking the halls I found one poster with "Rescheduled" on it. So -______-

I'll hopefully get to see it on the 24TH-26TH now, but no idea. Anyway I did manage to get a hot fudge (with strawberry ice-cream) sundae though, so at least there is that! I think the peanuts were leftover from last year though as they were hella stale :S

Subject:An Attempt At Possible Assistance For Lydia's Veterinary Bill
Time:08:04 pm

P1130516.JPG

This is Lydia Bubbleman Dumphy.

Though I often refer to her as 'Bratface' or Lydiepants. She is a petite cat (just at 8 pounds), but recently turned 1 year-old on April Fools. As you may know she has been to the vets' a lot since I got her, for jumping on the cast iron wood stove & burning her feet, to two chest infections. Anyway today she had to go over again. Yesterday morning she kept vomiting (but had not had any different food, and all my houseplants are cat-safe), and after the 6TH time I made her an appointment. This morning was the soonest I could get her in, but once I called her stomach seemed to settle, so it didn't seem like an extreme emergency. But the rest of the day & night she was dopey, sleepy, & not frisky as she usually is. But though she had perked-up a bit by morning we still went over since she still wasn't quite herself.

Dr. Elson looked her over, and after Lyd hissed & growled we managed to get her temperature; leading to us learning she has a fever. Ever since I got her, her belly has seemed extended a bit, and it had been something we have tried not to worry about, but to watch. Anyway today her stomach felt harder, and Bratface got quite agitated when prodded.--Leading Dr. Elson to suspect a possible obstruction. And since "Lydia eating something she shouldn't." is very possible, I decided to be safe and to have X-rays done (all the while reminded of a past associate's problems with a cat eating thread).

The X-rays showed that her stomach lining is just naturally thicker than average, and thus the cause of her sickness is probably just a bug or infection. So she is on medication to see if that helps her out. ...The thing is; just the X-rays cost $125CAD... And all together today's visit was $170CAD ($190.50 including tax). I charged it, and will work at it over time, but it is still more than I have with my means. So I am posting in the hope of getting some assistance in dealing with this expense by offering $5 commissions.

I doubt that many will even read this, and I am very much aware that I don't have much reach as with a support network, or whut-not. Still even a little bit raised would go for a lot. Examples of my art can be found at:

http://s569.photobucket.com/albums/ss138/lady_noremon/artz/?start=0

As can be seen I have several styles from which to choose from, and colouring techniques. ...All of which can be commissioned. Just either leave a comment here (Anonymous is allowed & screening is in place), or send me an e-mail at: ladynoremon at gmail.com

I can scan the bill if proof is wanted I have scanned the invoice for proof, and I will certainly post more pictures of the brat if requested too. Right now she is back with me, and flaked-out on a footstool resting, but still is not that active & rather annoyed at having to go through today's ordeal.

Lastly, just to provide it, my PayPal is: dumphyse at gmail.com

EDIT---
I also do some writing, so I guess I should offer drabbles up too. Examples of that can be provided via e-mail by request.

EDIT---
Her X-rays showed just how tiny she is. Her ribs reminded me of a fish's, and her bone structure of a little bird's. There really isn't all that much to my little brat.

EDIT---
A reminder that I am Canadian and thus this amount is in Canadian Dollars (CAD) ^^;

EDIT---
Update: Lydie is doing a lot better! Last night (May 4TH) I finally got her to eat something substantial-a piece of haddock-and then she went & stole Minnow's (I have 3 cats: Minnow, Nicolas, & Lydia) supper. Today is Nicki's birthday so I opened a can of tuna, and she was a thief for that too. Then later I walked past her, she grabbed my jeans & purposely pulled my sandal off. And soon after she batted Nick, stole his new toy, and then went to the water dish & plunked it into it! This is normal brat behaviour~

EDIT---
...I accidentally paid for an online purchase from my PayPal balance, instead of my chequing account, so I paid that $13.00 amount on my veterinary bill today (04-07-2012) from my bank account. I have scanned the invoice to show so.

Well today started-out alright (Eventhough I slept in late because I felt achey & worried that I was getting sick). I found-out that there is going to be an update for the 3DS on Wednesday. It is supposed to "help organise the Home screen", so maybe folders. I hope copy&paste or autofill is added to the Internet Browser, or Bookmarks saved to the SD Card to ease the limit on them. There are rumours of patch support too, so maybe downloadable content will be added or become more common. I also bought the redone original "Kid Icarus", which I played on a GameBoy at the IWK moments before I went into surgery when I was little. And the Animal Crossing for 3DS release date was announced for Japan in 3RD Quarter 2012. So I even less regret buying "Animal Crossing Wild World" to play now (it hasn't arrived yet). I also watched an episode of "Ringer" and it had a florist in it that sounded like the TV Newscaster from "Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines" (did Brian Mitsoda voice him?), and I laughed so hard. I've been thinking about starting that game up again so hard lately. A new game but playing my Toreador the same way, as I keep thinking of things and wanting to replay them (like "Traffik!"(sp?), and the 'it scares me right bad' haunted "Ocean House"). But Kotaku also mentioned "Grim Fandango" today, so I now really want ro play that again too (but I don't have a disk anymore as it was one of the things I lost when my mom kicked me out).

---
...But the afternoon lead to crap... )
---

So now I am finishing another cup of tea, & trying to steady enough to mend one of my dress shirts. Then I am going to head-off to attempt sleeps (though I suck at it lately), or maybe read more of "The Wrong Box" then attempt sleeps [a fantastic book that I greatly recommend! It's by Lloyd Osbourne & his stepfather; Robert Louis Stevenson. (but then again I chose it as Cassius' favourite book, so maybe it is not the best read for tonight)]. Tomorrow I need to search for where I claimed my Knowledge First (or whatever it was called back then) withdrawal on my income-tax back in 2008, and try to guard myself for Monday.--I'm going to go to my first legal advice/looking-into of the *poof* education money (luckily the person I'm seeing is my old financial adviser & family friend, so I don't have to worry about fees yet). And then I will have a hella long bath.

EDIT---
Oh, & there is an interview I should share (if I go on my Shaglehod again)! A Fox News reporter interviewed Kevin Bieksa, but thought that he was interviewing Ryan Kesler (I assume by the background noises it was rinkside, so Bieksa was wearing his own uniform too). Bieksa thus made a good but ridiculous Kesler impersonation. He kept praising America & everything. It was wonderful XD

EDIT---
*flump* Well I'm not going to that meeting now today.

Today Minnow Tora Dumphy turned 8 years-old!~♪

Next month on the 20TH will be the anniversary of scooping her up from that barn, but today we had a little 'party' for her. It wasn't as fancy as the one we had for Lydia (which I STILL need to make a post on :/), mostly since I haven't managed to get to a mall or to New Minas, eventhough I expected to before now. But I did make her a little hat (which I forgot to take a picture of her wearing), give her a new toy, and gave all 5 cats a treat of a can of tuna. Then her & Nicki were tied on the nice green lawn for about an hour in the sunshine.

Minnow on the day I brought her here! So tiny and not!orangey. The people had advertised that it was a litter of 'grey tiger kittens', which it was not a litter of. There was one marked like her only a boy, an all grey kitten, and a little girl. The couple's son got on his hands-and-knees to pull the girl out of an empty lawn mower box. As soon as I held her she latched onto my shirt and made a tiny cry. So though he said that there was another kitten around, I stated that I was going to take the one I was holding. She sat on my lap in my shirt & hat (I used to wear button-up shirts & a bucket hat) all the way home. She huddled under a blanket when I sat her on my bed, and hid from Wendy, Belle, & Molly.

I also posted a drabble to commemorate Cassius getting Saunder 2 years ago. It can be read here, but it is Custom FriendS' Locked. I know there isn't much point in keeping Lorel gender things locked now, but it is still ambigious on first glance. If you'd like to read it, I can e-mail it or something though!

Well according to my User Profile, this is my 2000TH post on [info]lady_noremon.

I remember I was in one of Mr. D'Entremont's classes, using his classroom computer when I first created this Journal (at 9:47AM on June 4TH, 2004). I remember that previously someone needed an invite code from another user to make an account, but I was so happy that they had opened it up. I originally just made this account as another tag-along to [info]krogoth5 (who decided previously that I "didn't need an account, and I'm not wasting my invite code."), but once I got back into The Legend of Zelda because of [info]fox_avenger, I looked around Interests, and I discovered Communities. Not long after that I made [info]sheikxlink_fc, and came into my own as it were.

I have met some of my closest friends because of here, and have also been decimated by others. A lot of people don't even use LiveJournal much anymore. But this Journal has been here from my naïveté of high-school, my attempt at adulthood, my low times, my very low times, my excitement, and for some adventures. Almost 8 years! Minnow (she was born on April 19TH, 2004) & my Shaglehod are older, but eight years!

Now not all these 2000 entries are Public, or amounting to much. I sometimes use it just to post one link, or to test HTML. So though it says '2000', there is probably only 1900 that people can see--some being able to see more than others (especially given Friends Only)!

Anyway, 2000 entries must deserve some sort of recognition, so that is what this 2000TH post is! And though I've for the last few months seriously thought about deleting it [well all of my accounts (to leave everyone be)], I guess I'll keep it around. I can't guarantee I'll have 2000 more entries, or 8 more years, but we all will have to see.

Subject:"Freakyforms: Your Creations, Alive!"
Time:12:01 am
Current Mood:thirstythirsty
Freakyforms is a "Nintendo eShop" game for the Nintendo 3DS. The point is to make creatures, and thus grow & explore your own little planet. You can only create a limited amount a day, and you can only explore for a limited amount of time each trip. In each section there is various foods to eat (everything from mushrooms, to lollipops), quests to do (like break all the green balloons, or transport another Formee across' the map), treasure chests to find keys for, various Formees to meet, etc. A lot of the features are locked at first, so it can be a bit tedious, but after you do more things there is quite a lot more freedom. There are 4 zones to unlock (by making a certain number of Formees): Meadow (grass/country), Ocean (tropical with a giant sunken pirate ship), City (full of fast food & racing), & Skyland (a magical candyland in the clouds). Each part of the scenery in each zone can either be edited, and/or have the colours changed. I've pretty much left all of it as is, just changing a few things, but I did change the most in Skyland.

The Formees that you make can be exported as pictures, and also QR Codes so that you can share them with people. The game also works with StreetPass, but given my rural area, I have yet to experience that part of the game. There are also a lot of in-game Formees to collect (by doing quests, challenges, or winning them in the Jackpot Egg thing). Also no matter their gender, all Formees lay eggs after eating foods.

I said that I'd share some of my Freakyforms things, so here is a post for it. I've had this game since January 27TH, but I've only really posted about it on Facebook or GetGlue. Also my planet is named 'Planet Calufrax', which is the name of an planet from the "Doctor Who" episode "The Pirate Planet" (one of my all-time favourite episodes!)~

All the Formees I have made can be found over {HERE} (the ones at bottom are from Creation Challenges), but below are a few of my favourites:

---

Lorrie is the first Formee that I created (hence why she is facing that way), and my preferred one to Explore with. Yes, a female peacock that is not a peahen. Yes, based-off of Cassius. I find it so amusing that she is obsessed with food. And it made me laugh so hard that in the tutorial the quest is to find & eat a mushroom, and she was SO EXCITED to eat it. Her voice is Playful (you can select different styles, and then pitches), and sounds very boyish, but the pitch I have it at is a bit feminine. Her 'catch phrase' is 'Yeorw', like a peafowl.

Pïäté is my first attempt at making a Formee with wheels, fins, and wings. I also made him kinda like a punk. I just love how versatile he is, and how grumpy he sounds!

Dalek is an attempt at making a Dalek! I love how a lot of it is animated (the gun shoots, the lights rotate, etc.) It also has an Angry voice, instead of a Robotic one.

I also tried to make a TARDIS. I should maybe have used the police light for the top, but it just didn't seem to suit.

More under here )
---

Another feature of Freakyforms is to set-up scenery and to take a picture of a Formee in it. This can then be saved as a .JPG or put in your mailbox to send to someone if you StreetPass with them (you can also set-up 3 Formees to send randomly via StreetPass). I haven't taken many pictures because it is limited, and you can only store 14 at a time, but here are a few:

Dalek taking over the city. This is my StreetPass photo'.

More under here )
---

And lastly I took some AR pictures, but I don't really care for how they are set-up.

Lorrie (and I would have made her neck longer, but I didn't have many shapes when I first started the game)

Gil Fishman (a Formee you can unlock) reminds me of a Classic!"Doctor Who" creature

More under here )
---

And that's all I shall post for tonight! I have a bunch of Miis/QR Codes to share, and I took another lot of "AR Games" Mii pictures. But I've used-up my mental/emotional capacity for the Internet for now. I've uploaded the stuff to Photobucket already though.

Subject:"AR Games" Pictures #001
Time:03:36 pm
The Nintendo 3DS has a built-in feature called "AR Games" (altered reality), and it comes with a few AR Cards so you can impose characters & things into real-life. After the tutorial for "AR Games" has been completed, you can then take pictures of Miis. I posted a picture on Saint Valentine's Day of my Mii as an example. One pretty much has to make atleast 1 Mii in "Mii Maker" because your default Mii gets used for your "Friend List", by default for StreetPass [though you can switch to any other Mii you have made (and I wish the hats showed-up on the Mii elsewhere)], in things like "Swapnote", etc. My Mii is named 'Sarah' (creator/DS name 'Norémon'), and is an attempt to turn my short!plump-ness into cuteness.

Anyway yesterday while I had my craft table set-up, and construction paper around, I decided to take a few pictures.

My Mii surveying a bunch of other Miis I created (I selected the add 'Many' option)

---

Mii's in "Mii Maker" wander around on the screen you sort them to, and randomly do several different actions. Sneeze, fall asleep, cross their arms, happily wave about, or if near another Mii might start a conversation with them (Alfred seems predisposed to conversing). The talking is just '...' in speak bubbles, with nodding, hand gestures, and such.

...I made a Cassius Mii because she is my character after all, and I guess it is a way to have her still exist (at least to me). It makes me laugh that she seems predisposed to crossing her arms, & falling asleep while standing-up. And since I only had 3 Miis at the time, I decided to make an Alfred, then an Uncle Frederick, Mila (short for 'Wilhelmina'), and I pretty much most of Cassius' family.--Even the servants. They have filled the royal blue screen in my "Mii Maker".

Mila, Frederick, Lorel, Alfred, Robin, Elise, Flora, & Robert

More pictures under here )

I think eventually I will post pictures of my Patrick Jane Mii, Sean Connery, and the "Doctor Who" ones that Jeremy & I made. I also have a bunch of "Freakyforms: Your Creations, Alive!" Formees that I have been meaning to post, and may use the AR Card with some of them as well. Club Nintendo has a giant AR Card that can be redeemed for coins. I might get it eventually, though I probably could make one maybe.

A lot of things I have made with my Nintendo 3DS can be found over {HERE}.

I have a bunch of pictures I plan to post, so I was going to wait to post. But I want to publicly thank someone for something, so I might as well post about other things now too.

Firstly I am doing better after my last post (which is now set to Private. I am debating whether to unlock it though. It is very emotional, but it has many things I haven't said before.). In part because I am *blah* from painkillers (which I will elaborate on in a bit), but mostly because in the pit of worthlessnotexistingpain I received a parcel in the mail from Armadei. A parcel that was promised, and one that was like 'hey, I care'. ...Which was kinda an anchor to hold onto. So; Thank-you, Armie.

---

So yeah, Thursday I slipped while coming down stairs (I mentioned this on Plurk & Facebook already, but not here.). My feet came right out from under me, my slip-on sandals went flying off, I fell backwards, I hit the around 70 year-old stairs hard, then slide down the remaining steps. I hit my left back/ribs, arm, and my butt. My arm got a bit of carpet-burn and bottom & it bruised. But my back/ribs hit first, and it hit right around where my kidney is. It hurt, and I was worried because I felt right shaky after, and on Friday the pain was worst & had spread. So I called Nova Scotia's 811 HealthLink number, and they told me to put ice on it, keep it elevated as best I could, and to go to a doctor/outpatients within a few days, unless it felt worse. Saturday it hurt all down my side, and I was having difficulty sitting so my mom took me to Annapolis Royal's outpatients (Middleton has a stomach flu outbreak). After a long wait I found-out that I had just bruised my ribs. Luckily I didn't crack or break them! So I was prescribed a painkiller, and told to rest, not lift anything heavy, et cetera, et cetera. So as of today the pain is much better, and the bruising is more visible. Still hurts when I cough/sneeze/laugh/inhale though. And I've been using a bag of frozen peas instead of ice! So I am relieved that it is nothing major, but it is hard getting in-and-out of bed, I haven't been able to have a proper bath (we don't have a shower, and it hurt too much to contemplate crawling into the bathtub.), and I hate not sleeping on my left side [I don't sleep well on my back (or more I tend to jolt awake), and kink my neck sleeping on my right side]. I have a painkiller!*blah* which is making like a barrier from getting too upset about anything really. Like it isn't a numbness, it is just a wall/dampener--I've been trying to get difficult things done while it lasts. And sleeping with a pillow between my legs is weird.

---

Last week I finally beat/finished "Again". My hunches were right, though the last part wasn't very much fitting with the pattern of the copy killings. Still I kept deep examining things too early so by the last bit I only had 1 more try in my gauge, meaning that if I messed-up just 1 time in the final gauged crime scene, I would have got a Game Over, & had to do like an hour over again. Lastly Officer Martinez is fantastic (and I thought he would be the last-minute Gumshoe/calvary).

---

I also baked a lemon meringue pie last week, and used True Lemon instead of lemon juice. It turned-out alright, but I found it too sweet...then again I don't have much of a sweet tooth. I will hopefully post a picture sometime of it.

---

June & I think that we saw a cardinal. I also have a few poor-quality pictures of him, I hope to post. I haven't seen a cardinal since I was about 7 years-old, and this one was far away though.

---

Also with this painkiller *blah* (most is "Echo Bazaar" related), I uploaded a bunch of art I did-mostly from the last 2 years-to Photobucket. I am debating trying to take/do commissions, probably for around $3-$5, and probably just in that faux watercolour cute/simple style. The Album can be viewed here:

http://s569.photobucket.com/albums/ss138/lady_noremon/artz/?start=all

---

I had a "Vampire The Masquerade" dream last night (probably related to Armie posting Redemption screenshots, and a Facebook friend using the word 'obfuscate'), and it makes me want to try to finish Bloodlines finally. I love the rare dreams with Zinnian (who after all these years I call 'Alexander').

---

Lastly would any of my American peeps please be able/willing to let me ship something to them, and then ship it to me (with me paying for shipping costs)? I want to order some things from Something Silver & Nite Ize. Particularly a gorgeous peacock bracelet, and some rubber twist-ties.

Well today I was supossed to meet my mom's lawyer to read over her will (Mom is updating it, and what-not to avoid any of the crap involved in Uncle Clarence's estate). On the way I was having the sharp pain like I have been having on-and-off-fading-to-a-dull-throbbing-pain, so I decided to go to outpatients in Annapolis Royal about it before the appointment. I missed the meeting with the lawyer because the on-call nurses/doctor did another test, but I did find-out about my ultrasound.

I have a very bad urinary tract infection, and my left kidney is swollen. The colour & frequency doesn't suggest possible this thing that I don't know how to spell--nephritus(sp?), but the rest of the things are iffy for it. Anyway, I am on a prescription of antibiotics to hopefully clear everything up. ...But there is a small chance that my kidney still might be wonky. The doctor doesn't know why the last tests I have had didn't pick-up on all the things that the one tonight did (blood in it even, for fuck sakes).

So yeah, that is what is up with all that. Not too major-major, but glad I didn't wait to whenever the Hell I could have an appointment with my doctor next.

-----

I am also going to be sending my 3DS off for repairs next month. The left hinge has been wobbly since I bought it, but I have just been taking it as a minor inconvenience that I'd just live with. But since playing "Again" with it, I noticed it more. I decided to call about it since I want to finish Hotel Dusk (and start Last Window), and I also worry it will get more wobbly as time goes on. So this helpful customer-service guy named Chase has the fully covered but my 14 month warrenty (and known issue on some limited edition devices) repair all filed, I just need to send it off by Purolator (they'll even look into that Nikki disappearance issue). It will take about 3 weeks before I get it back though...So I'll be pretty M.I.A. except by telephone/txts for that time. I don't plan to send it off this month though, as I have a few long car rides & waiting rooms first.--Hopefully I'll hang-out with Jeremy beforehand too (he just got a Nintendo 3DS). I guess while it is off in Montréal I'll be watching Season 2 of "The Mentalist", "Castle" (I finally watched "The Blue Butterfly" which was fantastic cheesy film noir!), & a hella lot of Classic!"Doctor Who". Maybe I'll even clean my room again & sort through clothes (stuff to donate that no longer fits, or ratty things to use for rags. And put my strictly!winter things away.). I'll post when I ship it out, 'in any case'.

Well tomorrow I finally have my ultasound. My doctor is going on vacation, so it will be awhile before I hear about the results, but I will be glad to have it done (The pain has gone from dull, to sharp.). I have also queasy the past few days, but that is more stress & mood I think--though I worry because a stomach flu is going around in my area. I had a stomach flu in Alberta and it was horrible. Then the pills I was on with it caused me to be right out-of-it, and call one of my dorm-mates by the name of another. Anyway; because I haven't felt up to it, I have been procrastinating making more difficult telephone calls that I need to make.

To be honest the past few days I have also had a lingering hollow-type feeling, and a lack of worth for existing -___- [and all the other draining things (which the 'phone calls have agitated; especially the being so, so hated, & that eats right at me when reminded of it).] So to try and help somewhat, today I readied some of the lettermail I have been meaning to send/went into town to mail it. A lot of my close associations have birthdays in March & April, so I readied 2 cards today. I have a gift-gift for Jeremy (1 card went to him), but it won't fit in a pre-paid Regional mailer, & I don't want to spend more than I paid for it to send it just an hour away. So I took 2 pictures of it wrapped and put them in the card.--I'll give him the gift when I see him in-person next (I could give it to his sister to deliver, but it is a fun gift & I want to maybe watch him try it out when he opens it!). I also sent-out 2 postcards.

I really enjoy sending postal mail. AND I also love receiving it even more.

And I am really enjoying sending little notes in "Swapnote" too. So thank-you [info]koujikouichi & [info]gargantsurprise!~♥

---

I also beat Spirit Tracks. The end battle was silly convoluted (around 8-10 stages to it)! And also it had the unsatisfactory 'save just before'-type ending. I did manage to complete all the side-things though, except for the 3RD Slippery Station route, and high-scoring some of the mini-games. But at least 'it was all just a dream' wasn't pulled for this ending.

I have MGS3 for 3DS now, but I don't feel up to getting into it right now. I did try the demo' though, and later I will try to remember to paste the rambling I made on Facebook about it here. I was going to try to finish "Overlord: Minions", but I am still annoyed at how many times it froze & glitched the last times I tried. Any suggestions for wgat to play next?

---

Hm...

Well [info]watchcry linked me to the 2ND "Sherlock" season, but I only watched episode #1 so far. I looooove Watson's festive sweater though! ...I pretty much just fangirl over his jerseys.

My mom & I ate at Sushi Fang in New Minas, and their tempura is so, so, so delicious. The shrimp were like fluffy, but I didn't get any mushrooms (I don't know if they have them or not). And their miso soup & mango ice-cream was fantastic too~

I had a dream about a zombie dog & "The Mentalist"/ModernAU!Cassius? I have had "Never Let Me Down" by Duran Duran in my head all day? I dreamt about "Pan-Am"? "Charade" is a relatively good movie, but with a good plot? C'rizz is my homeboy?

...I really don't know what else to update with now, and am low on 3DS battery :( So I am sorry again for sucking at getting-back to people, and take-care. Also I hope you lot had an alright Leap Year Day ^^; [my synesthesia has '29' attractively(?) as orange & green, kinda the colour of those gummy worms, only just split in half instead of thirds]!

---Sarah-Sarah

EDIT---
Ultrasound went alright. I had to drink 16 more ounces of water when I arrived though. 48 ounces all together. Now that isn't really that much for a day, but for drinking in 30 minutes it was D: So much water. I love the design colours & such of the ultrasound waiting room now though. They did it all over in mint, brown, & white. They also have two fabric wall hangings of a boy sotting on a brick wall staring at a castle with rainbows. He reminded me of Little Boy Blue, which made me laugh, as well as a bit sad. ...And I also haven't read any "Fables" since mid-September...

After the hospital I went to Cinnamon Creek & bought a kinda "Doctor Who"-ish postcard to mail to Marts. I didn't see the peacock scarf that I was tempted to buy last time that I was in though. I miss the Layzee Squirrel & Cinnamon Creek being in Bridgetown however :(

“Apologising again for failing at getting back to messages, and some venting about being so drained, & draining things. Also my external hard-drive has copped-out again and needs hopefully just Vista's repairing. I also am planning to buy the 3DS Snake Eater for once I beat Spirit Tracks.”

Firstly, this is a picture of Darly. I bought this lovely pink hippopotamus in Alberta, on Saint Valentine's Day 2008, at the GPRC bookshop. I have taken her with me almost everywhere that I have travelled since then, so probably over 6,000km! I love the quality Russ has, and this hippo is even machine washable :3

And this is the cake I mentioned in the last entry. These photographs are poor quality from my 3DS camera in an old, low-lit house.

And here is my Mii sitting on the box of chocolates that June gave me. I bought her a clubhouse sandwich & chips at The End Of The Line Pub.

---

My plans for today were going to be: Wear my favourite clothes, have a good breakfast while checking my Valentinr, ready some belated valentines to mail, then put on my new jacket and go into town, do errands, go to the post office, and buy a burger & sweet potato fries at the local pub on the way back. Then watch "The Lost Boys" :3

Well my favourite shirt had been washed in this laundry detergent that we only used for one load since it was terrible. I stubbornly tried to wear it anyway, but it made me so itchy, and really bothered my allergies & asthma :( So I had to take my emergency inhaler, and I was still so filled-up that I decided to just go back to bed & nap. After I put on my 2ND favourite shirt, and I did get to town & bought June & I lunch, but I didn't bother with my other errands (I got reminded of something and grew horribly low, sad, sob-y, & such). At least I got sooooooo full on sweet potato fries!

That "Swapnote" note was from Nintendo, but sadly Nikki has yet to return to my Plaza :( And I want to thank whomever sent me the 'Glass Heart's LiveJournal V-Gifts! I really wasn't expecting them XD I sent my 5 free ones out though, so I hope your days were well; Laurie, Anjeey, HoT, Fred, Candi, & Kabochan!Sarah (though she probably doesn't know she received one, I still miss her :( )! And lastly thank-you to those that sent me Valentinrs! Often those are all I do for Valentine's Day, so receiving them is always something to look forward to, & are appreciated. Only 2 were signed though, so I can only directly thank Snickerer & Ashley-boobcakes!

I hope your days were well too,

This is just to check-in and apologise to those it concerns for not replying to contact, or contacting, and whut-whut. I have just been so worn-out/tired the past 2 weeks. So in conjunction with my usual hesitation/anxiety with contacting, I really have got back on nothing. I have 2 Facebook messages to reply to, a LiveJournal message, and an e-mail. Plus I also had planned to try to send more/not be afraid to send more frequent text-messages to someone else. But bravery is quite hard right now.

I cannot promise to get back to people, soon or otherwise, but I will try to around the end of next week. My trust is so damn shot, that besides from being too drained & not up to providing substantial replies, I just do not feel right in making any promises, when I cannot believe any myself right now. Actions or proof are what I need, and since I don't know if I will get around to replies, I will only say that I will try to try.

Monday/tomorrow is the day I drink 32 ounces of water and have that ultrasound though, so it will be a longass day with car rides & waiting. And then Tuesday is Saint Valentine's Day, which usually somehow manages to just grind at me, even if this year doesn't have the same situations as other years. I really am rather pathetic. *Bah* Then Wednesday I have errands & telephone calls to make.

But anyway, of the 4 ways of communication that I have to get to sometime soon-ish, e-mail, and then LiveJournal messages (in part because I read them via e-mail) are the hardest for me. Facebook isn't too bad, but I rarely check it, sometimes the new messages' notifications don't go through, and yeah. Text-messages are the easiest, and such, though my RAZR gets full easily & I haven't been keeping my cellular-telephone on my person much. Of course I still worry about just being a bother when I contact, so -_-;

I will be checking my e-mail a fair bit though for the next while, 'in any case'. I had to file a support ticket with Nintendo, and am hoping for it to help fix things. I received Nikki from "SwapNotes" last night on my "Mii Plaza". But today I started the Plaza up to play "Find Mii II" and Nikki had disappeared D: I checked the "Mii Maker" to see if she had gone there (Miis received via Invitation on the Plaza leave if sent to "Mii Maker"). She hadn't, so I called Nintendo's support. The representative couldn't help much since this is a weird error, so we filed a ticket. I really hope that there is a way to get her back, and a way that doesn't involve deleting all my Plaza dara, or the notes I received from [info]gargantsurprise & [info]koujikouichi sent me :( And then I have that mysterious letter in it too that I need to wait until 'the specified date' to open...when it doesn't state the date besides from a cryptic clock symbol.

Anyway; if anyone wants to contact me, txts would be best I guess. My number is BAO-ETTA if you translate it to 1337, and my area code is New Scotland.

EDIT---
Oh and a referral to my Valentinr again, since I posted it originally at a silly hour, & their site was having a hella lot of errors.

EDIT---
I totally forgot that Bridgetown's Winterfest 2012 is the end of this week! So instead I probably won't try to try until the beginning of the week after. Winterfest is a small festival in town that has a huge!ass bonfire, snow sculpture, winter sports, a free-will-offering breakfast, hot chocolate, & lovely mulled cider~ I again wosh that I had someone to take to see the bonfire though :(

EDIT---
Ultrasound is now waiting for the rebooking. It is snowstorming down where I am in the Annapolis Valley right now, and the little rural road I live on hasn't even been plowed or salted yet--let alone how bad the storm will be by the time we were supposed to leave. The pain is worse today too, so it probably would have been better to look at today though. So since I am not going, I am going to go back to sleeps, then make a cake later. I am not big on sweets, but I have been craving chocolate cake :3 So going to make a Saint Valentine's Day cake~

Oh, and Lydia jumped into a full bathtub last night D: So I had to hold her & dry her with a towel...after having to catch her. For being almost 1 year old (on April Fools' Day actually), she is still so tiny (just 6lbs.). And since she just got over something, I am going to keep an eye on her.

To continue the...well in the least 5 year tradition; here is my Valentinr:

My Valentinr - noremon
Get your own valentinr

This is the equalvilant to those old Kleenex box or paper bag taped to the front of my desk in elementary--Which is one of the few Saint Valentine's Day things that I have ever looked forward to. So here is a digital version of that ^^

ALSO, to try something new (and since I am disliking digital communication more than usual right now), if anyone would like an actual valentine (or other card) mailed to them, just say so! ...Depending on how things go it may even be something handmade.

EDIT---
Wishroll has been full of 500 & 502 Errors. I hope it gets fixed...and isn't going down :(

EDIT---
Well the errors have cooled-down, but the image for the large widget is still not updating, so here is a smaller one more for my own references:
